Outside of these months and during the period from December to March the navigation is done to spot sea lions, cormorants, and possibly dark dolphins. Navigation will be subject to the weather conditions of the day. Then, we went to the Estancia San Lorenzo, a traditional cattle ranch in the area, where besides being able to have lunch a typical Patagonian lamb on the grill, we will have the opportunity to visit the Magallanes penguin reserve, located 7 kms from the town center. stay. We visited the Punta Norte Reserve, where, from December we observed sea lions and eventually orcas, and then we left for Punta Cantor to observe the elephant seals and the outer coast of the Peninsula where we can appreciate the topography of Caleta Valdés.
